Tane is a seasoned professional with a diverse background, having worked in various roles such as a Lifeline crisis support worker, NDIS behaviour support practitioner, disability support worker, and youth worker with the Tasmanian Salvation Army. He has been instrumental in developing the White Ribbon’s presence in Hobart.
His Master’s thesis focused on the treatment efficacy for victims of domestic violence. Tane also has international experience, having worked in Nepal to rebuild a damaged orphanage, a role that utilised his skills from a previous career in building.
He has a keen interest in sports and music, evidenced by his tertiary-level studies in music and his three-year stint coaching a women’s rugby team. Tane enjoys working with clients of various ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, bringing a wealth of experience and a broad skill set to his role as a clinical psychologist.
