Jo Green is a UK-trained GP who has lived and worked in Tasmania since 2010. She has developed a special interest in obesity management and dermatology, particularly focusing on skin cancer. She works at the Kingston Skin Clinic and also serves as a surgical assistant in orthopaedics, along with being a first responder medic at sporting and other events.

Jo is a member of NACOS and the RACGP's obesity specialist interest group, and is working towards accreditation with SCOPE. She has assisted in lap band adjustment clinics as well as laparoscopic bypass and gastric sleeve surgeries.

Having her own 'weight story', she aims to provide an empathetic and holistic approach to helping others in this area.

When she’s not working, Jo enjoys spending time with her children and family, horse riding, fishing, travelling, and walking her dogs.
