Bree Turner

Bree Turner is a Registered Nurse and Credentialed Diabetes Educator. Her passion for Diabetes Education originates from living with Type 1 diabetes for many years herself.
She understands firsthand how complex and challenging living with diabetes can feel. Bree prides herself in her commitment to helping support people, and their families, overcome these challenges and achieve their goals in a supportive non-judgemental environment.
Bree completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Tasmania. She then went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing working as a Clinical Nurse in both Emergency and Intensive Care, at the Royal Hobart Hospital and later, St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Bree subsequently completed a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education at Deakin University and became a Credentialed Diabetes Educator, working at multiple hospitals across Melbourne in this role. During this time she gained extensive experience helping people manage all types of diabetes. Bree is a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer and Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems Trainer.
